The winner of the 2025 Rocket Classic will receive $1.728 million in prize money this week at Detroit Golf Club, the standard 18% of the $9.6 million total purse that we generally see on the PGA Tour.

This was the most-watched final round of the Rocket Classic since 2020, when Bryson DeChambeau won. That was in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, and there were no fans allowed at Detroit Golf Club.

South Africa's Aldrich Potgieter drained an 18-foot birdie putt on the fifth playoff hole to secure his first PGA Tour victory by winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic on Sunday at Detroit Golf Club.

Then came last week, the Rocket Classic, where Joe made his Tour debut on his home course. The goal was to get to Sunday, get some TV time, family and friends on the rope line, maybe even. . .
