TCU finally knows their bowl destination. The Horned Frogs are headed to the Isleta New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they’ll face the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. It’s the first ever meeting between the two football programs, although TCU and Louisiana have met on the baseball diamond in recent years.

TCU will face Louisiana in the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque on Dec. 28 at 1:15 p.m. CST. It was a bummer for many fans that were expecting the Horned Frogs to get a crack at the Ragin Cajuns in-state big brother LSU or any other SEC like Texas A&M and Florida.

Two high-powered offenses will go head-to-head when Texas Christian meets Louisiana in the 19th annual New Mexico Bowl.

Texas Christian University (TCU) and Louisiana will face off at the 19th annual Isleta New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 28. The Horned Frogs (8-4, 6-3 Big 12) and the Ragin’ Cajuns (10-3, 7-1 Sun Belt) will be meeting for the first time on the gridiron in Albuquerque.

TCU will face Louisiana on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 1:15 p.m. CST on ESPN. The Horned Frogs will enter bowl season as one of the hottest teams in the country with five wins in their final six games and an 8-4 regular-season record.
