A quad-1 win was not in the cards Tuesday night for the Cincinnati Bearcats. On one of their better shooting nights of the season, the Bearcats ran into a team that was counting by threes instead of twos.

The Bearcats basketball squad blew another Quad 1 opportunity on Tuesday night in an 81-71 loss to Texas Tech. UC is now 2-5 in conference play and has fallen to 6-30 in Quad 1 games under Wes Miller.

Four players had 14 points or more for Texas Tech basketball, none being Darrion Williams as the Red Raiders' depth was too much for Cincinnati.
