Byron Buxton and Trevor Larnach homered help the Minnesota Twins beat the last-place Chicago White Sox 6-3 on Wednesday night.

Byron Buxton struck out in his first three at-bats Wednesday night, but he erupted with a 414-foot, two-run homer to give the Twins a comfortable cushion late in a 6-3 win over the White Sox.

Had he not caught the ball, the runners on second and third would have scored, tying the game. Instead, his game-saving catch meant the Twins beat the White Sox 4-2 in the series opener on Tuesday night at Target Field. On the mound, Duran raised his arms and started excitedly jumping up and down.
