On Saturday, when a gunman walked into UPMC Memorial Hospital in West Manchester Township armed with a semiautomatic gun, he walked right through to the ICU. The hospital did not have metal detectors anywhere, according to medical staff who spoke to PennLive on the condition of anonymity.
