MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WKRC) - A driver told authorities that he "fell asleep" inside his car, then woke up inside a Waffle House. According to WATN-TV, a man was recovering in the hospital after he reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel of a red 2012 Buick Enclave and woke inside a Waffle House location.

The driver said he fell asleep in his car in front of the Waffle House, and the next thing he knew, he was inside the restaurant. No one inside was injured. The driver was taken to a hospital with non-critical injuries. He was charged with several traffic offenses.
