Houston starts a new work week with downpours Monday as Hill Country continues to deal with heavy rain and the risk of flooding.

Rain resumed in parts of the Hill Country early this morning and scattered downpours are possible through the afternoon as well. The Houston-area will also see some showers for this week.

Afternoon highs will soar to the low and mid 90s this weekend and early next week as rain chances won’t be quite as high.
