Thousands of homes are under evacuation orders and warnings because of wildfires in Northern California wine country and in central Oregon

Ten structures — including four homes — have been destroyed by a wildfire sweeping through central Oregon as thousands of homes in the state and in Northern California wine country remained under evacuation orders Monday.

Firefighters are battling wildfires in California and Oregon force evacuations as dry winds and heat fuel rapid spread.
