When you're reformatting a drive, memory card, or flash drive you need to pick a file format. If you see FAT32, exFAT, and NTFS, but don't know which one to pick, here's what you need to know.

I would use journaled NTFS over non-journaled exFAT. In my experience NTFS Is more robust and I format all USB drives for Windows in NTFS.

Select the File System as NTFS and check the box next to Quick Format. Click on Start to initiate the formatting process. Open the USB drive and right-click anywhere inside the main drive window.
