The planned Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams Wild Card playoff game has been moved to Arizona amid the Los Angeles wildfires.

The NFL announced on Thursday, January 9, that “in the interest of public safety, Monday’s Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals .”

The NFL has moved Monday's playoff game between the Vikings and Rams to Arizona, saying the decision was made in the interest of public safety as wildfires continue to ravage Southern California.

The NFL has moved the Los Angeles Rams' playoff game against the visiting Minnesota Vikings to Arizona after days of devastating wildfires in the L.A. area.

The Los Angeles Rams brought as much of home as they could with them to Glendale's State Farm Stadium, and it helped them win a playoff game.

"In the interest of public safety, Monday's Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals," the league's statement reads. "The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs, and the NFLPA."
