Mumbai: In a big breakthrough in Saif Ali Khan attack case, the Face recognition test of the Bangladeshi national arrested in the case has come out positive, Times Now has learnt. The accused -- Mohammad Shariful Islam (30) -- allegedly stabbed the actor at his 11th floor flat in the upscale Bandra area in the early hours of January 16.
Mumbai Police confirmed that the face of accused Shariful Islam matches CCTV footage from Saif Ali Khan's residence. Police conducted a facial recognition test as a standard procedure, not due to doubts about his identity.
