Mark Dantonio became a legend in the state of Michigan because of what he was able to do in his 13 seasons coaching the Michigan State Spartans.

Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades will lead the College Football Playoff selection committee next season, while former MSU coach Mark Dantonio will also join the 13-person committee.

Michigan State football will play Maryland in Detroit on Nov. 29, the Spartans' third game at Ford Field and second time in the past three years.
