The Storm Prediction Center has placed Alabama under a slight risk for severe storms, a level 2 out of 5. The main risk Tuesday and Wednesday will come from strong wind gusts. Even outside of thunderstorms the wind could gust as high as 60mph. The overall risk of a tornado is low, but it is not a zero threat.
