Things got better after the bye week as Flores got his first win as a head coach over the Jets and their head coach, Adam Gase (Stunning development there). While the Dolphins finished 5-11 in 2019, Flores received a lot of praise for the job he did with a weak roster as Miami beat some tough teams despite a losing season.

The New York Jets interviewed Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores on Friday for their head coach vacancy. Flores is the 13th coaching candidate to meet with the Jets, who are also expected to speak to Vikings quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.

The New York Jets have already interviewed several candidates, but there's one who their players are reportedly "excited about."
