Hart had suffered a cervical compression in the neck in the Knicks' 116-99 loss to the Timberwolves on Friday night.

Now about halfway through the NBA season, the Timberwolves have yet to replicate their success from a year ago. The additions they made for Towns haven't fit in well and it has made some wonder if they will look to make a move ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

Towns has missed the Knicks' last two games after injuring his Thumb during a Jan. 13 loss to the Detroit Pistons. The star center played through discomfort, posting 26 points and 12 rebounds on 7-of-17 shooting from the field, 4-of-9 from three and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. He declined to say whether he underwent X-rays following the loss.

The Atlanta Hawks are on a roll while the New York Knicks are sputtering, and playing this one at MSG won't be much of a help for the home team. Look for Trae Young & Co. to coast to at least a cover as sizable underdogs.
