The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today they have acquired defenceman Luke Schenn from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for the Jets second-round selection in the 2026 NHL Draft and fourth-round selection in the 2027 NHL Draft.
Winnipeg sent a second-round pick in the 2027 draft in exchange for the veteran winger. The Toronto resident is in the final year of a six-year deal he signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins back on Canada Day in 2019. The Jets finish off their road trip on Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Puck drop is 4 p.m.
