The Alabama Crimson Tide picked up their fourth win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Vanderbilt Commodores. They advanced to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in SEC matchups, while looking like true national championship contenders.

Alabama is once again recruiting at an elite level but Vanderbilt has also down well both on the field and on the recruiting front.

Alabama football’s running back commit, Ezavier Crowell is 100 percent locked in with the Crimson Tide and is not considering any other programs after shutting down his recruitment.

A member of Alabama's 2026 class, Doughty previously announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide following the Vanderbilt game, and according to a report from Fawcett, has now officially shut things down. Per Fawcett, the Alabama commit has also cancelled upcoming visits to Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Missouri, and Ohio State.

It’s been nearly 20 years since Roman Harper’s “Rocky Stop” vs. Tennessee in 2005, the same day a certain SEC legend made his recruiting trip to Alabama.

According to multiple reports, four-star MSU wide receiver commit Samson Gash, a native of South Lyon, Mich., and an attendee of Detroit Catholic Central, is set to visit Alabama for the Crimson Tide's game against LSU on Nov. 8.

According to a report Sunday from Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback commit Jett Thomalla has officially shut down his recruitment. Thomalla, a member of the Crimson Tide's 2026 recruiting class, has been committed to Alabama since June 2025 when the quarterback flipped his commitment from Iowa State.
