Ryan Poles isn’t going anywhere. Bears president Kevin Warren confirmed Monday that the team’s current general manager “will remain the general manager” and spearhead the upcoming head coaching search following Friday’s firing of Matt Eberflus.

Ryan Poles will remain the Chicago Bears' general manager and serve as the “point person” in the search for a head coach to replace the fired Matt Eberflus, team president Kevin Warren said on Monday.

On the players’ first day back at Halas Hall, Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown delivered a message: “No more divisions.” Brown, who became interim head coach Friday when the Bears fired Matt Eberflus, stood in front of the team during a meeting Monday morning.
