Bill Belichick hasn't been the head coach of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels for even a month and already rumors are going around about NFL teams checking to see if the coach would be interested at all in making a move back to the professional ranks.

North Carolina coach Bill Belichick had high praise for newly-hired New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, when appearing on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday. The Patriots hired Vrabel as their head coach on Sunday, a full week after firing Jerod Mayo.

On Wednesday, one day after the Raiders parted ways with Antonio Pierce following his first full season as the team’s head coach, NFL.com reported Tom Brady — now a minority owner of the Las Vegas franchise — had spoken “recently” with Belichick “about what it would take to make a reunion happen.”

Belichick has routinely been named as a potential head-coaching candidate for the Las Vegas Raiders due to his close relationship with Raiders minority owner Tom Brady.
