Report: Pirates hire former Pittsburgh slugger to staff
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that the Pittsburgh Pirates have hired Daniel Vogelbach as a special assistant to the hitting department. Vogelbach spent half of the season with the Pirates back in 2022 before he was traded to the New York Mets in exchange for reliever Colin Holderman.
