Jose Altuve has played in nearly 1,800 MLB games in what probably will be a Hall of Fame career, with 1,765 of them at second base. But in 2025, the Houston Astros veteran is moving out to left field for much of the season. And as we've seen in spring training (see below), he's had some trouble out there.

As the Astros took on the Mets on Opening Day, Jose Altuve shared his reaction to the fans in left field giving him a standing ovation.
