HURON, S.D. (AP) -- A state judge has denied a former Wolsey minister's contention that constitutional violations led to his imprisonment for the drowning death of his wife.

A recent judge's ruling has vacated the sexual abuse convictions of former Sioux County businessman and political activist Lawrence Vander Esch.
