Unlike Trout, Jansen is well acquainted with the postseason. The four-time All-Star owns a 2.20 ERA and 20 saves in 59 career playoff games, all but two of which came with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jansen has also pitched in three World Series and won a ring in 2020.

One of the best events for all MLB fans and players is the World Baseball Classic, an opportunity for each player to represent their home country in a highly competitive event. We last saw the WBC in spring 2023 when Japan defeated the United States in the championship game.
