NEW YORK — Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau says there’s “no right or wrong” way to distribute minutes over the course of a season — only what works best for a team given its specific circumstances. “I think each team is different.

The New York Knicks’ front office moved to improve the roster last offseason. They inventively circumvented some of the newer salary cap rules, saying goodbye to Donte DiVincenzo, Julius Randle, and Isaiah Hartenstein to add Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Tyler Kolek recently played a prominent role with the Knicks in a winning effort, and coach Tom Thibodeau was impressed with the performance.
