The starters for Pokemon Legends: Z-A have been revealed as Totodile, Chickorita, and Tepig. Totodile is a Water-type Pokemon, Chickorita is a Grass-Type Pokemon, and Tepig is a Fire-type Pokemon.

As the one exception, Tepig is the only starter in Pokemon Legends: Z-A that's not introduced in Pokemon Silver and Gold - instead first appearing in a later generation in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

To this end, and in a strange turn of events, perhaps Toedscool, Vanillite, and Meowth will end up being the Pokemon Legends: Z-A starters. This is also a possibility, though unlikely.
