Former National League MVP Ronald Acuña Jr. says he has almost completely recovered after tearing his left ACL while playing for the Atlanta Braves last May.

Acuña suffered a season-ending injury May 26 when he tore his left ACL during a stolen base attempt. The Braves star says he will be ready when the team calls him back to the lineup.

Once Acuña returns to the active roster there are no plans to have him DH any regular-season games, Alex Anthopoulos said.

But when will Strider and Acuna be available? Braves manager Brian Snitker said he was encouraged with how Strider looked during a bullpen session earlier this week and the workouts Acuna did in Atlanta. Snitker said the team will work on an exact timeframe for the ace and star to return to the starting lineup as spring training goes on.
