Thousands of North County residents lost power Wednesday morning due to multiple outages reported by San Diego Gas & Electric, with the cause of the outages still under investigation.

At least 3,059 customers were without power in the mentioned areas, with a restoration time estimated for 9 a.m., SDG&E officials said.
