More than two dozen public access sites across the Upper Peninsula are being plowed and kept open for ice anglers.
The survey nets captured good numbers of northern pike and smallmouth bass and light numbers of largemouths on Wolf Lake.
A project to save a popular fishing spot will be finished this year, with water levels expected to return to normal by 2027.
