MINNEAPOLIS — Napheesa Collier had 28 points and eight rebounds to lead the Minnesota Lynx to their second victory over the Dallas Wings in five days, an 85-81 decision that spoiled the homecoming for first overall draft pick Paige Bueckers on Wednesday night.

The team may need time to gel with No. 1 pick Paige Bueckers, new head coach Chris Koclanes and other returning players.

The Wings are looking to get their first win of the season with an early rematch against the Minnesota Lynx on KFAA.

Atlanta plays the Dallas Wings after Rhyne Howard scored 24 points in the Atlanta Dream's 81-76 loss to the Indiana Fever.

The Dallas Wings fought back late in the first half and in the third quarter, but it was not enough to overcome Seattle Storm's Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins' hot shooting in the second half. The team lost 71-79 to the Storm Monday night.

Interestingly, All-Star guard Arike Ogunbowale earned such recognition on Wednesday when she matched a Taurasi record in the Dallas Wings' showdown with the Minnesota Lynx. According to the WNBA, Ogunbowale tied Taurasi "for the fastest player to reach 500 career 3PM" in league history.

The Dallas Wings are set to receive a frontcourt boost. German center Luisa Geiselsöder will report to the Wings Sunday, the team announced. Geiselsöder will join the Wings after leading Basket Landes to a championship in France’s Ligue Féminine de Basketball.
