Two more local Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants are set to close. 2 NEWS is working to learn why both are shuttering. Locations in Huber Heights, Kettering and Englewood all closed in November. These are just the latest Frisch’s restaurants to shut down recently due to financial issues.

This is one of several that plan to close before the year ends. Several other Frisch’s locations have already closed over the last couple of months.

The Big Boys have left the building. Until last week, the Frisch's mascot was a star attraction in "A Tale of Frisch's Big Boy," an exhibit in the Frisch's Mainliner location in Fairfax since 2018.
