Gaddis has been one of the Guardians top-end relievers for the last couple of seasons. Last season, Gaddis pitched to a 1.57 ERA in 74.2 innings pitched. He hasn’t been as sharp this season, pitching to a 3.69 ERA in 39.0 innings of work, but could still be a positive addition for a team in need of high-leverage relief pitching.

The Cleveland Guardians are still in contention for an AL Wild Card but with several teams ahead of them. On the other hand, the Toronto Blue Jays have been one of this season’s surprises, leading the AL East ahead of the New York Yankees.

Nolan Jones has entered in his place in the lineup, with Lane Thomas moving to center, Angel Martinez moving to second base and Daniel Schneemann shifting to third.
