Tom Hamilton is the legendary voice behind so many hall of fame-worthy calls in the last 35 years of Cleveland baseball that it is impossible to imagine a Guardians game without the 70-year-old Wisconsin native behind the mic.

Tom Hamilton, who has called Cleveland games on the radio for 35 seasons, is the Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Frick Award winner for excellence in broadcasting.

Hamilton became the 49th winner of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s Ford C. Frick Award, which is presented annually and honors the top broadcasters in the game.
