INDIANAPOLIS — Carlie Irsay-Gordon is expected to assume control of the Indianapolis Colts' football operations in the wake of the death of her father, Jim Irsay, Wednesday at the age of 65, stepping fully into a role she’s spent a long time preparing to handle.
There’s just a realness that he was a very human person just like all of us,” said former 18-year NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who played for the Colts from 2013-15.
Through his love for football, classic rock and, most of all, Indianapolis, Irsay left an indelible impression and turned the Hoosier State into a football hotbed.
