Minnesota United FC got the best of Lionel Messi and Inter Miami both on the pitch and on social media during Saturday's 4-1 blowout victory. And they did so much to the chagrin of Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham, who called out the club's social-media posts in the aftermath:

Lionel Messi was powerless to prevent Inter Miami from slipping to its biggest defeat in MLS play since his arrival in North America, falling 4-1 at Minnesota United on Saturday. Previously, there had only been one two-goal defeat with Messi — a 1-3 home loss to Atlanta United in May last year.

Hlongwane scored his first goal of the season to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. Hlongwane, who scored a career-high 11 goal last season, slipped behind the defense and perfectly timed his run onto a ball played ahead by Carlos Harvey for a one-touch finish inside the back post from the right corner of the 6-yard box.
