Veteran Florida state legislator Joe Casello died at the age of 73 on July 18, after suffering a massive heart attack earlier in the month.

Former Worcester firefighter Joseph A. Casello, who retired from the department and moved to Florida, where he entered politics, has died after suffering a heart attack. Casello, a Democrat, was a sitting member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 90. He lived in Boynton Beach.
