Monster Hunter Wilds is not yet Steam Deck verified. This doesn't mean the game can't be played on the Steam Deck. The "verified" designation is for games that have controller support, support the default resolution of the Steam Deck, no compatibility issues and support the Steam Deck's Proton system.

Capcom's latest monster hunting adventure can't be configured to run well on Valve's handheld, or any gaming PC, until updates are released.

To verify Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam, right click the game and select Properties. Under the Installed Files tab, select Verify integrity of game files. This process will take a few minutes and if it finds any errors or missing files, it will redownload them.
