ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith called out the Phoenix Suns in a tweet, pointing a finger at coach Mike Budenholzer after Sunday’s 148-109 loss to the Houston Rockets at PHX Arena.
The Suns lost by 69 points to the Celtics and Rockets, setting a new NBA record for the biggest losing margin in back-to-back home games.
"The Phoenix Suns are an atrocity," Smith said. "They are bad for basketball. Kevin Durant has been balling. He's been an individual stud. The problem is, they do not have a leader. They have a bunch of people playing individual ball just not as good as Kevin Durant."
The Arizona Republic reaches the final couple weeks of its NBA power rankings with the Celtics making a push at the top spot.
