See, NBCUniversal has been pushing really hard over the last few years to make Peacock a destination for sports streaming. That includes brokering a lot of deals with the leagues, notably one that’ll go into effect this October to make Peacock the streaming home of the NBA—at a price tag of $2.
Race Day Live Begins Saturday at Noon ET with Race at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock Before Transitioning Exclusively to Peacock at 5 p.m. ET
The monthly cost of Peacock is going up. NBCUniversal made it official, setting new prices across all of its subscription plans. Starting in late July, anyone signing up for the service will pay more.
As part of the deal, NBCUniversal and Peacock will pay $1.5 million to L.A. County's Department of Consumer and Business Affairs; $100,000 to cover the investigation costs and $2 million in civil penalties.

NBC Sports' 50 hours of traditional live tournament coverage kicks off from across the pond Thursday, July 17 on Peacock from 1:30 a.m. ET to 4 a.m. ET, before heading to USA Network from 4 a.m. ET to 3:30 p.m. ET. The same schedule applies for Second Round coverage on Friday, July 18.
