Former Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit died by suicide on Monday, just hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin fired him from the job, Russian state news agency RIA reported.

Russia's former transport minister Roman Starovoyt killed himself Monday hours after being officially dismissed by President Vladimir Putin, the country's Investigative Committee said Monday."Today, the body of former Transport Minister Roman Starovoyt was found in his private car with a gunshot wound in the Odintsovo district,
