Ted Danson speaks at Michael Schur's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

As A Man on the Inside continues to gain awards-season attention, star Ted Danson and creator-executive producer-writer-director Mike Schur gathered at an FYC event on Wednesday at the Motion Picture & Television Fund in the Los Angeles suburb of Woodland Hills.

Ted Danson and other stars of “Cheers” reacted Tuesday to the death of co-star George Wendt, who played Norm Peterson in the famous 1980s NBC sitcom. Wendt died “peacefully in his sleep while at home.”

Netflix has announced on their social media that Ted Danson’s bittersweet comedy A Man on the Inside is in production for its second season. Created by Mike Schur, the show was praised for its heartfelt portrayal of life in a retirement home and the realities of aging.
