The wind chill Tuesday morning was projected to be in the low teens according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

The deep freeze is here and besides some clouds, there will be a few hours on Monday that will be above freezing temperatures. There may be some flurries tonight, but light snow is expected south of the metroplex.

Across Texas we are seeing freezing temperatures. A winter storm will bring snow to the Gulf Coast, while Dallas-Fort Worth should avoid the brunt of the weather.
