A tornado caused major damage to at least one home in Seminole County as severe weather moving across Central Florida prompted tornado warnings in four counties.

The tornado, later given an EF2 rating by the National Weather Service, was believed to have peak wind gusts to 115 mph, equivalent to a Category 3 hurricane.

No direct injuries or fatalities were reported, according to the National Weather Service after it completed its storm survey. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF2 tornado hit Seminole County about 9:35 a.m., Monday, March 10. Peak winds were estimated at 120 mph.

Debris rained down outside as the meteorologist shouted: "Get under your desks, guys! Anchors—under your desks! Producers—everybody, get under your desks!"
