Arizona will have to manage difficult games against BYU and Houston without star freshman Koa Peat due to an injury.

Arizona announced that star forward Peat has a muscle strain in his lower leg. Peat will miss the Wildcats' next two games against BYU on Feb. 18 and Houston on Feb. 21. Peat injured himself during the Wildcats' loss to Texas Tech on Valentine's Day. The freshman is averaging 13.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

UConn remains No. 1 in the latest USA Today Sports women's basketball coaches poll. The SEC has 10 teams in the top 25 this week.

No. 17 Ole Miss (21-6, 8-4 SEC) defeated No. 21 Tennessee (16-8, 8-4 SEC), 94-81, Tuesday at Sandy and John Black Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi. The Rebels led, 44-33, at halftime in a game which was the Lady Vols' second consecutive loss.

Gianna Langereis recorded 15 points and seven steals to lead Hanover Park to a 36-30 victory over St. Elizabeth in Convent Station. Hanover Park jumped out to an 11-2 lead after one quarter, but St. Elizabeth rallied with a 12-6 run to cut the deficit to 17-14 at halftime.
