A newly published Nintendo patent reveals an unexpected hardware device that is surprisingly similar to an older console launch.

One of these developers happens to be Moon Studios, with the CEO Thomas Mahler asking on social media if fans of the studio (as well as Ori games and Nintendo platforms) would be interested in the team's new release, No Rest for the Wicked on Switch 2.

While the upcoming launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 is guaranteed to drive huge sales, Nintendo also needs to prepare for the risks it'll bring.

Nintendo didn't showcase a game lineup with its Switch 2 reveal, so this wishlist represents a fraction of the titles we hope will be available on day one.

This is very different from what has happened in the past when some of these companies would support Nintendo platforms with conversions of older games or maybe recent but not so ambitious ones.”
