Asus co-CEO S.Y. Hsu reacted to Apple’s announcement of the “budget-friendly” MacBook Neo and its effects on the PC market.

Apple's new $599 MacBook Neo is a snappy 13-inch that feels a lot like its older siblings, but I can't help but wonder how it'll hold up after a few years.

Windows PC makers typically haven't had to compete with Apple on the low end, but that changes with the Neo, says S.Y. Hsu. The memory shortage might complicate things, though.
