Joel has revealed that he is canceling all of his upcoming concerts due to a recent diagnosis of a brain disorder.

Billy Joel has cancelled a string of tour dates after being diagnosed with a rare brain condition that affects his hearing, balance and vision. A total of 13 shows in North America and the UK – scheduled to take place between June and November – have been cancelled, with fans offered full refunds on their tickets.

Despite being diagnosed with a brain disorder called normal pressure hydrocephalus, Billy Joel reportedly isn’t looking to step back from his career anytime soon. “He is happiest while performing,” a music industry insider told People on Tuesday. “Music is, has been and will always be his life. He’s not ready to retire.”
