An uncollared gray wolf close to the Wyoming border in Jackson County has killed a cow, Colorado Parks and Wildlife confirmed on Saturday morning.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife said a depredation incident is under investigation after an uncollared wolf killed a cow on a ranch in Jackson County last week.
It is the first time Colorado Parks and Wildlife has confirmed a livestock depredation outside of the 29 it says live in the state.
