Six people were killed after a small plane crashed into the ocean off San Diego on Sunday, authorities said.

Indian authorities said Friday the investigation into the crash was underway, which is expected to include experts from the plane's maker Boeing and U.S. aviation regulators.

The crash comes weeks after a small Cessna crashed into a San Diego neighborhood in foggy weather and killed six people.
