X faces a new EU privacy investigation after its Grok chatbot generated nonconsensual deepfake images on the platform.

The European Union’s data privacy watchdog has launched an investigation into Elon Musk’s X over sexualised images generated by the social media site’s AI chatbot, Grok.

"The action we took on Grok sent a clear message that no platform gets a free pass," U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Sunday.
