Palestinian officials denounced the partial burning of a historic mosque in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Friday, which they said had been carried out during a raid by Israeli armed forces.

Israeli forces stormed mosques, set fire to Al-Nasr Mosque, and blocked firefighters from putting out the blaze.

Violations occurred in various areas, including 39 in Hebron, 18 in Bethlehem, 7 in Nablus, 21 in Jericho and Jordan Valley, 33 in Tubas, 21 in Ramallah, 21 in Salfit, 21 in Qalqilya, 6 in Jerusalem

The raids were the latest in Israel’s ongoing military escalation in the West Bank, where at least 926 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,000 injured in attacks by the Israeli army and illegal settlers since the start of the onslaught against the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
